This presentation will provide a foundation of concepts\, components\, and present them in an approachable way scaling from lightweight portable systems to large whole house systems. \nBio: Andrea has been working in software engineering for more than three decades at several recognizable companies including Shopify\, Nortel\, SurveyMonkey\, Solace\,  and more. Through her work in open source software\, she’s worked with even more leading tech companies\, and technologies. She has developed technology solutions across multiple sectors including telecom\, small businesses\, healthcare\, geospatial\, education\, government\, and more.
