About the event
The Ottawa Bicycle Club’s Rideau Lakes Cycle Tour (RLCT) – one of the country’s longest-running cycling events – is now in it’s 49th year. This 2-day ride goes from Ottawa, through picturesque towns and villages along the Rideau Lakes waterway, to Kingston on the shores of Lake Ontario.
Call for volunteer radio operators
For many years, local amateur radio operators have provided communications support for the RLCT. Any OARC members interested in volunteering for this 2-day public service event should contact Jeffrey Arcand VA3PEW jeffrey@va3pew.ca . Note that the RLCT can use volunteers for one or both days – whatever fits your schedule.
