Join Craig VE3OP as he describes his trip to W1AW.
Craig’s presentation – chock full of pictures – walks you through his recent visit to W1AW, where you will learn about the ARRL grounds, the main building, as well as W1AW history, building, towers, antennas, cabling, stations, and operations.
Over the past 45 years, I have been a member of various Amateur clubs, a consistent member of RAC where I currently volunteer, and have enjoyed all kinds of operating modes and events. I am very fortunate that my XYL Roxanne, VE3ROX, holds her Advanced certification as well. I look forward to serving Northern and Eastern Ontario as RAC Director in this very exciting chapter of RAC’s history, now 30 years strong.

Scout Headquarters is at 1345 Baseline Road, Ottawa. Parking is free in the SHQ lot.
