Get involved with OARC Radio in the Park (RITP) 2026

Join fellow Club members, along with your friends and family, and set up portable Amateur Radio stations at Walter Baker Park in Kanata.  The activity runs from 9:00am to 1:00pm, rain or shine. With a little help from local hams, passers by can participate in “fox hunts” (using radio direction finding techniques to locate one or more radio transmitters hidden within a designated search area) and can “Get on the Air” under the supervision of a certified ham.

We ask everyone to register in advance because this helps us to know how many people are coming and allows us to send you reminder closer to activity.

Participants should be self-sufficient. No food or drinks will be provided. Washrooms are available in the adjacent arena.
