About the OARC Hamfest
The annual OARC Hamfest is the region’s largest fleamarket and hamfest. All of the big ham radio retailers are going to be there! Dozens of fellow hams will set up tables loaded with radio goodies at unbelievable prices. There will also be major doorprize draws. Come and have a non-Zoom eyeball QSO.
To learn more about the OARC Hamfest, please see the Hamfest information page. It has links to past Hamfest descriptions and photos and gives a quick summary of OARC Hamfest history. But for this year’s Hamfest, keep reading!

Anyone Offering Rides to this event in CARP ONTARIO.
Sorry Shawn, but it is not possible for the OARC to provide transportation to the Hamfest. I am not aware of any hamfest that provides transportation to its event. Due to the extremely high cost of a venue in the city and particularly due to issues related to parking (i.e. it’s not free), almost all hamfests and similar events are held further afield.
Greg, I don’t think VA3GFY was asking if the club was offering transportation.
Shawn, I’m hoping to be in Ottawa for the event. I’ll know in about a week. If I come, I might be able to give you a ride there although it will be very early as I will be volunteering. I can’t promise a ride back. I can let you know. Update your QRZ with your email address so I can contact you.
Mark VE3JMR thanks for the offer and you were correct .
I am looking for a ride again if anyone is passing through downtown Ottawa west bound i can meet along side the queensway like Bronson/Catherine Subway . if so just email me .
