Join Tracy Mckim VE3TWM as he describes the best practices he has learned operating HF portable over the years. The material will be presented in an approachable, no-nonsense style that is applicable to all operators interested in field deployments.
Tracy has a YouTube channel “Outdoors On The Air” with 16,000 current subscribers and more than 2 million total views. The YouTube channel’s mission statement is to encourage people to get out of the shack, get outdoors and get on the air.
Tracy has been a licensed ham since 1991. He has a passion for camping and ham radio and has done many portable operations, both front country and back country.
